都庁舎サービスロボット実証実験
東京都は、今後活用が期待される先端技術の社会での実用化及び2020年のICTショーケース化の実現に向け、都のフィールドを活用し、実証実験を行うことといたしました。
今回の取組では、様々なシーンで活用が見込まれる多言語対応のサービスロボットについて、都庁舎の案内や東京の観光案内など利用者の方に案内する場面での活用を想定し、可能性や有効性などを検証します。

Demonstration Testing of Service Robots
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) is supporting the development of technologies to accelerate efforts to put highly anticipated technologies into practical use in our society, including ICT technologies. To further contribute to these efforts, the TMG is conducting demonstration testing of various technologies at its premises.
For this initiative, multilingual service robots stationed at the TMG Building welcome and assist visitors, providing information on this building and sightseeing in Tokyo. This testing aims to examine to what extent and how effectively the robot can perform these functions.
